The Amazing Agriculture Adventure (AAA) is back this fall, offering an interactive and hands-on agriculture experience to students — with an exciting new addition!
This year, students from Grades 3-6 and Grades 9-12 will have the chance to explore agriculture up close at the Bruce D. Campbell Farm and Food Discovery Centre.
From September 24-26, 2024, students in Grades 3-6 (with a focus on Grades 4-5) will engage in a variety of interactive stations. Participants will learn about Manitoba’s livestock industry through stations highlighting dairy, beef, chicken, eggs, pork, bees, veterinary practices, 4H, and watersheds. This experience will help students understand how animals are cared for, the role of animal agriculture in their daily lives, and potential career opportunities in agriculture. Subsidies for registration and bus costs are available to ensure everyone can attend.
On September 27, 2024, the AAA will introduce a new day dedicated to Grades 9-12, focusing on career exploration. Older students will visit the same interactive stations with an emphasis on the diverse career paths available in animal agriculture. This new addition aims to inspire students to consider exciting careers in this vital sector.
Don’t miss out on this unique learning experience. Register now and explore the amazing world of agriculture!
